Rising Roots Foundation was developed to serve the schools, families, children, and community of Hohoe, Ghana. Our mission identifies many goals we strive to accomplish. One goal includes supporting individual students within our partner schools, and hopefully more as the organization develops. Many young children in Hohoe come from families with much financial struggle, and as a result, the family is unable to provide new and clean uniforms and school supplies for their child. Consequentially, many of these children will either have to work with their parents in home to support financial needs, or may struggle with self-esteem and self-image which decreases motivation and academic progress.
